Public Speaking & Presentation Skills Training
Learn acting skills that will transform your tedious talk into a powerful presentation
Entrepreneurial Thursdays is a networking event that takes place every Thursday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Dowes on Ninth Jazz Club in downtown Pittsburgh. Vocalist Jessica Lee and guest musicians perform blues and jazz while people listen to the music and network. In between sets she interviews a panel of experts on topics that are relevant to the business and cultural life of Pittsburgh.
On Thursday September 8, the panel will be comprised of experts on the subjects of public speaking and improvisation in the area. Sally Chopping of Acting For Business will be on the panel along with Patty Kreamer of Kreamer Connect, Barbara Holmes from Winston Thurston School, David Fedor from the I-Factor and Larry Phillis from the Cellar Dwellers. The program will include a special mini performance from the I-Factor and the Cellar Dwellers so that everyone can see improvisational theater in action.
The host and founder of Entrepreneurial Thursdays is Jessica Lee. She is a successful entrepreneur and musician who has created a unique way to combine entertainment and networking. It is a no-stress networking event where contacts are easy to make, and the music is inspirational and heart warming.
The next Entrepreneurial Thursdays will be on September 8, 2005 (There will be no performance on September 1 because of the Labor Day weekend.) There is a $5 cover charge and there is no need to register: you can just show up at the door. Dowes on Ninth Jazz Club is on Ninth Street and there is a convenient parking garage directly across the street. Visit www.jessicaleesong.com to find out who will be on the panel at future Entrepreneurial Thursdays and to hear tracks from Jessica Lees new CD that will be released on September 17.
